Honestly!

Alright! What is it with all you people? YES Jordan and I are doing well! I don't know what it is, everyone keeps asking that question; granted it's all the non-Christian people that I know, that think we were nuts for getting married so young when we don't have kids. Actually it's kinda funny, they think it's weird to be married so young, and I think it's weird not to be. Considering that most the people that I hang around with are either married, getting married, or in a relationship that is heading in that direction; and they are all around my age. So really what is it? I even catch my self doing it occasionally. What is it that makes us think that just because 2 people have got married young, it must be because shes pregnant or a kid is involved somehow. Now it is true that I know a couple of couples that are married young because of a pregnancy, but still. On the other hand I don't understand why there are all these newly* married couple that are getting pregnant. Not that I'm coming down on their choices, all the more power to them. Just seems that Jordan and I are one of the only couples that I know that are going to actually try and wait till we are done school. Maybe we just think to sensibly sometimes (not always a good thing).

P.S. On the same note, after all my ranting, my brother and his wife are going to have a baby! WOOHOO! *Does a little happy dance*

Hey, there's us too! We're holding out until we finish school and maybe even until we get a little on our feet financially (so expect us to break the record for oldest couple to have a baby... 109 or something) Look at it this way though... once you get married, everyone's like "WHEN ARE YOU HAVING A BABY?" "WHY DON'T YOU HAVE A BABY YET?" "WHY AREN'T YOU POPPING OUT BABIES?" "BABIES!BABIES!BABIES!BABIES!BABIES!" At least those of us who are in school have an excuse for taking our time. Then the conversation goes more like, "WHY DON'T YOU HAVE A BABY YET?" "We're waiting til we finish school because we're broke and owe our souls to the government" "Oh, good idea"

By the way, thanks to you and Jordan for posting on my blog... It makes it much more interesting to have to post all the time when I know someone's actually paying attention.

People are often bugging us on the subject of the "babies"
"Where's the babies?" "Why don't you have the babies?" "Why aren't you getting the babies now?"
And so on...

I love the Simpsons, especially when I find that I can quote them.

It's funny, because I knew exactly what you where quoting as soon as you started saying it (I even had the voice of Fat Tony in my head).

Wow! You're married! I guess those things tend to happen, particularly when one hasn't seen a person in... what? 4 years? 5 years? Big congratulatory hugs! That's awesome! Good to hear from ya! :) Talk soon!

Life, the universe and everything

I just thought that I would give all my fans a update on what’s been going on and how those going ons are going (Wait, did that sentence make sense? Good!). I'm at university again, and this semester should be really good. I'm taking managerial finance and accounting, human resources, economics, and even french! I know what your thinking, "Jesse and french? Not such a good idea", but actually I'm really enjoying it. Of course my lovely wife is helping me when she can (if you think my schedule is bad you should see hers). I really am enjoying my classes, I much prefer taking stuff that is more specialized then generalized, even if it is harder sometimes. I found a new out about a new job that I never knew existed, Financial Engineering, sounds great doesn't it? The actual description is a little long and boring, but basically you create and monitor securities for financial markets. Okay, I'm noticing that blank expression... alright, you know the stuff that they embed into cheques? The watermarks, secure lines, things of that nature? It's like that but on computers for the world financial market. Anyway, it doesn't matter. Speaking of work though, I just applied for, and got into, the Co-op program. So now I have to start applying for a shwack-load of jobs, and hopefully I get a couple of interviews, and more importantly a job. I would really love to get some more experience. What else can I tell you? Nothing that I can think of at the moment. Have a good one!
