Alaska!

So I was in Alaska the other day... and that got no reaction from you at all did it? Didn't think so. Well that's too bad for you because I'm going to tell you anyway.

Jordan and I went to Alaska on a cruise for our honeymoon just before school started (just a couple of months late). I must say that it was absolutely amazing! The people, the sights, the FOOD! The amount that we go to do and see was incredible. We could have ate food 24/7 at the 3 different restaurants, 5 or 6 cafes, room service, self-serve soft ice cream, not to mention the 2 midnight buffets that we had (an Ice Scuplture and Chocolate theme). Some of the towns we visited were spectacular, but the most amazing spot was the Misty Fjords, probably the most beautiful spot I have ever seen (I'd show pictures but we went through them during dinner, and I didn't have my camera). And the people were outstanding. The crew were always courteous, polite and would do most anything you asked. At every dinner we would sit with 6 other people (it was supposed to be 8 but that's another story), Darryl and Leahan, Robin and Mika, and Henry and Tess. Lets just say that you would probably not be able to find a more misfit group of people (you could tell that we were the 'leftovers' that the cruise just stuck together), but that made it all the more fun. Sometimes we would hang around and do stuff with the people from our table and sometimes we would just do things by ourselves; but we always had fun. From the Ice Sculpting show, the nightly Broadway musicals, half a dozen comedy and entertainment acts, and endless musical groups (mostly jazz) playing across the ship. I would defiantly go again.
